Meet the Principals of Strategems

Ellen Barre Spiegel, company President,
focuses on our company's sales and marketing. She also spearheads Audit Management, Quality Assurance, and Training Program
Development initiatives. Additionally, she works with select
clients on marketing, corporate events, strategic planning and
new-media related projects. Ellen's audit experience dates back to the
mid-1980s, when she served as a member of the American Express Worldwide
Quality Assurance team. Her monthly report to American Express' senior
management was credited in Fortune magazine as being the best of its kind.
In the 1990s, Ellen won two Quality Awards for leading initiatives at a
joint venture between IBM and Sears and also implemented Quality-related
programs at The Weather Channel and Williams Worldwide. An early
pioneer in online services, Ellen was the project manager responsible for
The Weather Channel's first online presence. Further, Ellen is both
the founding Chair of the Direct Marketing Association's Internet Alliance
Public Policy Committee and a past Board Member of that organization.

Bill Spiegel,
Vice President, has responsibility over all claims technical issues. A recognized expert in Workers’ Compensation claims, with additional experience
in auto and general liability claims, as well as Texas nonsubscriber claims,
Bill offers more than 20 years' claim experience to our clients. He has
served on AIG's National Audit Team, performing claims audits for national
accounts and due diligence audits for potential loss portfolio transfers.
His opinion on claims matters is valued and respected by risk managers,
underwriters, brokers, attorneys and fellow claims professionals. Mr.
Spiegel has worked for several of the nation’s leading insurance and
financial services firms, allowing him to develop a unique, multifaceted
perspective on claims. Bill has worked on a wide range of accounts
including: Northrop Grumman, State of Nevada, Republic Services, Jones
Vargas, Integrated Health Services, Jerry's
Famous Deli, CA Rasmussen, AMELCO, Marriott, General Motors, Bicycle Club
Casino, Cirque du Soleil, and Mimi's Cafe. Bill Spiegel is a graduate
of UCLA.
